District 10, taking in Tanglin, Holland and Bukit Timah, is Singapore's prime landed-home belt: bungalows and Good Class Bungalows set among greenery in estates such as Nassim, Cluny, Gallop, Dalvey, Swettenham, Leedon, Holland Grove, Watten, Namly and Binjai. Rezeca Renewables has installed rooftop solar across this district since 2009. A landed system here typically costs S$1,200 to S$2,000 per kWp, and most homes recover the cost in three to six years, after which the power is close to free for the life of the system.
Every roof is quoted individually, but as a 2026 guide: semi-detached homes usually take around 15 to 25 kWp, bungalows around 25 to 50 kWp, and Good Class Bungalows around 50 to 90 kWp, roughly S$30,000 to S$90,000 or more depending on size, roof type and equipment. The per-kWp price falls on larger roofs because fixed costs like design, approvals and connection do not scale with the number of panels. At the 2026 SP tariff of about 34.78 cents per kWh including GST, most of the saving comes from offsetting daytime use, with excess exported for a credit. Bukit Timah's estates, including Leedon Park, Watten Estate, Namly Estate, Binjai Park, Adam Road and Sixth Avenue, are among the strongest in Singapore for residential solar thanks to their generous roofs. A landed home in the Leedon Park area saves in the region of S$14,500 a year. Many Bukit Timah bungalows have pitched tile roofs, so we pay particular attention to mounting and cable routing to protect against leaks and keep the look tidy.
Tanglin's Good Class Bungalow enclaves, Nassim, Cluny, Gallop and Dalvey, suit large systems. A Good Class Bungalow on Cluny Hill runs an 89.25 kWp array that saves an estimated S$36,500 a year. Elsewhere in the district, a Good Class Bungalow on Swettenham Road runs 23.92 kWp for about S$9,600 in yearly savings.
