90.61 kWp solar PV system on a red clay tile roof at King's Road, Bukit Timah, Singapore. Black panels, stepped layout. Commissioned 2023.

Rezeca Renewables installed a 90.61 kWp solar PV system on a large property at King's Road, in the Bukit Timah area of Singapore. The system was commissioned in 2023.

The standout feature is the use of dark solar panels on a traditional red clay tile roof. As the aerial photograph shows, the modules are stepped neatly across the hipped roof faces, following the tile lines around the central ridges to achieve high coverage while keeping a clean, ordered appearance. It is a useful reference for owners who want solar that works with, rather than against, a tiled roof.

At 90.61 kWp, the system generates an estimated 113,000 kWh of clean electricity a year, offsetting a large share of the property's consumption. Surplus generation is exported under Singapore's Simplified Credit Treatment (SCT) scheme.

The installation was completed by Rezeca's in-house team of solar engineers and WSH-certified installers, with all electrical work endorsed by a Licensed Electrical Worker (LEW) and registered with SP Group. Rezeca has installed solar across Singapore since 2009, with more than 1,500 installations and 45+ MWp to date.
