The quick answer: a Rezeca home solar system comes with four warranties and a performance guarantee. Who backs what after your system is installed?

The panel brand on your quotation matters. A 30-year home-size panel and a 12-year commercial-size panel are not the same product, even when the price per kWp looks similar. Rezeca's guide to solar panel brands compares them.
What is the performance guarantee?
Every AIKO 490 Wp panel Rezeca installs carries AIKO's 30-year performance guarantee. It sets a floor on how much output the panel may lose with age:

If a panel falls below its guaranteed output, AIKO repairs it, replaces it, or compensates for the shortfall, and Rezeca lodges the claim for you.
What the guarantee does not cover is the weather, shade or how you use electricity. Those change how much power you generate and save, so the yearly generation and payback figures in a proposal are estimates. A neighbour's new extension or a fast-growing tree can cut output on a roof that was clear on installation day.
Who handles a warranty claim, and who pays the labour?
Rezeca does. Under Rezeca Solar Customer Care, Rezeca lodges warranty claims with the panel, inverter or battery maker on your behalf for as long as that warranty runs, not just during the workmanship warranty.
- Within the 2-year workmanship warranty: installation defects are fixed at no charge, and Rezeca does not charge labour for a warranty replacement.
- After that: the manufacturer supplies the replacement part free under its warranty. Rezeca charges for the labour to remove and refit it, and for scaffolding if a roof needs it.
This is how equipment warranties work across the industry. Panel and inverter makers replace the faulty part, but their warranties generally do not pay for the labour to take it off the roof and fit the new one. AIKO's warranty, for example, leaves removal and reinstallation costs with the owner. A 30-year panel warranty is a 30-year guarantee on the panel, not 30 years of free labour. Ask any installer who pays for labour on a warranty swap, and for how long.
Can the workmanship warranty be extended?
Yes. Rezeca's standard workmanship warranty is 2 years from installation, and it can be extended up to 10 years. Ask Rezeca for the terms when you sign, or before your first 2 years end.
How is your system monitored?
Your inverter connects to the maker's app: Huawei FusionSolar or Sungrow iSolarCloud. You can check daily, monthly and yearly generation on your phone, and it is worth a glance once a week. A sunny day with output well below your usual figure is worth a message to Rezeca. If you also want to see how much electricity your household uses, that needs a smart meter, an optional add-on installed before project completion. Check with us if you require one.
Optional grid-loss alerts. Rezeca checks Huawei and Sungrow systems every day for grid loss, where the system has stopped sending power. If you sign up, Rezeca emails you when it happens, with simple steps to check the RCCB (the safety switch). To sign up, give Rezeca the email address you use for your FusionSolar or iSolarCloud app. A system that only shows "Disconnected" is usually a Wi-Fi issue: the panels are still generating, the app just cannot report it.
What does Solar Wellness include?
Solar Wellness is Rezeca's system servicing. A visit covers panel cleaning, a check of panel condition, inverter performance and wiring, and a performance check after cleaning. Rezeca recommends one visit a year for every system, and two a year for roofs under mature trees or near construction.
- Within the 2-year workmanship warranty: existing Rezeca customers can book a free health check.
- Complimentary cleaning: many Rezeca projects include one cleaning visit within the first 24 months. Your contract states whether yours does.
- After that: cleaning and health checks are paid visits.

- Check the app. Compare today with a similar sunny day last month.
- If it shows no output, check the RCCB on your solar distribution board. The troubleshooting guide in your handover documents shows where it is.
