Rezeca Brings Joy to CWA Seniors with Laughter and Creativity

On 6 November 2025, a team of Rezeca volunteers spent an afternoon with 25 seniors at the Caregiving Welfare Association (CWA), sharing games, crafts and plenty of laughter.

An afternoon of play and connection

The room filled with laughter as seniors marked Bingo cards, folded paper aeroplanes and dipped fans into swirling marbling paints. What began as simple games soon became an exchange of stories, smiles and new friendships.

The Bingo game drew friendly competition, while the paper aeroplane contest brought out a playful side, with some participants folding their first ever plane and proudly launching it across the room. The highlight was a traditional marbling fan craft, where each senior created a one-of-a-kind fan in swirling greens, golds and reds.

Why we do this

"It is not about doing something big, it is about making someone feel seen and happy again," shared one of the Rezeca volunteers. "We wanted to bring warmth, laughter and human connection, and I think we all left with full hearts."

For Rezeca, volunteering like this is part of our wider commitment to the community. We believe energy is about more than the solar panels we install, it is also the energy of compassion and time spent with people who value the company. This is one of several initiatives that led to Rezeca being recognised as a Company of Good by the National Volunteer and Philanthropy Centre in 2025.
