Rezeca Returns to CWA for Mosaic Coaster Workshops with Seniors and Caregivers
In July 2026, Rezeca volunteers ran two mosaic DIY coaster-making sessions with seniors and caregivers at the Caregiving Welfare Association.

In July 2026, a team of Rezeca volunteers returned to the Caregiving Welfare Association (CWA) for two afternoons of mosaic craft, this time with both seniors and their caregivers.
Two afternoons of mosaic making
Across the two sessions, participants pieced together their own mosaic DIY coasters, choosing colours, arranging the tiles and setting each design in place. It is a craft that rewards patience and a steady hand, and it gave everyone something to focus on together, chatting and comparing designs as the coasters came to life.
A moment for caregivers too
What made these sessions special was including the caregivers alongside the seniors they look after. Caregiving is quiet, constant work, and it was good to see caregivers take a break, sit down and make something of their own for a change. By the end, everyone had a finished coaster to take home, a small and useful keepsake from the afternoon.
Why we keep coming back
For Rezeca, spending time with the CWA community is part of how we give back through the year. We believe energy is about more than the solar panels we install, it is also the time and care we share with the people around us. Sessions like these are one of several community efforts that led to Rezeca being recognised as a Company of Good by the National Volunteer and Philanthropy Centre in 2025.
