West Coast Green
Aerial view of a 10.88 kWp solar panel installation on a flat RC roof at West Coast Green, Singapore, showing a dual-section panel layout arranged around a central skylight, installed by Rezeca Renewables in 2020

Rezeca Renewables installed a 10.88 kWp rooftop solar PV system on a semi-detached home at West Coast Green, Singapore, commissioned in 2020.
The flat reinforced concrete (RC) roof presented a clean mounting surface, but the central skylight required a split-layout approach. Our engineers designed a dual-section panel arrangement — visible in the aerial photograph — positioning panels in two distinct arrays on either side of the skylight to maximise usable roof area without compromising natural light into the home. This type of precision layout engineering is standard practice for Rezeca's residential projects, where no two roofs are identical.
At 10.88 kWp, the system generates an estimated 13,600 kWh of clean electricity per year — enough to offset the majority of household consumption for a typical Singapore landed home. Surplus energy is exported to the grid under Singapore's grid sell-back scheme, earning the homeowner credits on their SP Group electricity bill.
The installation was completed by Rezeca's in-house team of solar engineers and WSH-certified workers with Licensed Electrical Worker (LEW) approval. All regulatory submissions to SP Group were managed by Rezeca on the homeowner's behalf.
With a system cost of approximately S$1,600–S$2,000 per kWp and a payback period of 3–6 years, this West Coast Green project demonstrates how a mid-sized residential solar system on a standard semi-detached roof delivers meaningful long-term returns — with panels backed by a 30-year manufacturer warranty. For similar examples of solar on smaller landed homes, see our installations at Pemimpin Place and Pavilion Rise.
This project is one of over 1,000 residential solar installations completed by Rezeca Renewables across Singapore's landed estates since 2009.
