District 03, covering Alexandra, Commonwealth and Queenstown, blends residential and commercial buildings in central-south Singapore. Rezeca Renewables has delivered solar in this area since 2009. Pricing depends on the building: landed homes typically run S$1,200 to S$2,000 per kWp, while larger commercial rooftops achieve lower per-kWp costs at scale. Most systems recover their cost within a few years, after which the power is close to free for the life of the system.
Every roof is quoted individually. For homes, a semi-detached usually takes 12 to 20 kWp and a bungalow 25 to 50 kWp; commercial rooftops are sized to the building and its load. At the 2026 SP tariff of about 34.78 cents per kWh including GST, most of the saving comes from offsetting daytime use, with excess exported for a credit.
